FutureMe Challenge

Young people from the North East are less likely to go on to higher education than young people from many other areas of Engand. We want to produce a digital advert to encourage more young people in the North East to think about Higher Education as an option for them.

We want your help!

The FutureMe Challenge is your opportunity to research higher education and design an advert. Here is what you need to do:

1) Read the challenge brief at the bottom of this page.

2) Think about the reasons why young people from the North East may be less likely to go on to higher education and come up with five key messages that would make it more appealing.

3) Create a six piece storyboard to turn your key messages and research into a 30 second YouTube Advertisement.

4) Use the two worksheets on this page and submit them by Friday 3rd July

Shortlisted entries will be professionally designed and turned into a comic strip. The overall winner will have their advert professionally produced and shown on YouTube.

We'll be adding content regularly to help guide your research and discuss different topics about higher education. Click the icons below to access the content.
