Newcastle University PARTNERS Programme The PARTNERS Programme has been running since the year 2000 and is one of the most well-established supported entry routes to Higher Education of its kind. Students can receive a lower conditional offer to Newcastle University, and attend a Summer School.

STEP (Space to Explore Potential) Programme (Durham University) STEP is aimed at black students studying in Year 12 at a state school. On the summer school, STEP students will take part in a variety of sessions and activities that showcase the Durham experience, from academic taster sessions to social activities.
